Join us bi-weekly for a heart-full devotional chanting experience led by the talented Akari Tamura. With her solid musicality and Bhakti spirit, Akari creates a sacred space to celebrate our capacity to love and serve, fostering a direct connection to the Divine through dedication and devotion. Together, we will immerse ourselves in the songs of love from our hearts. What to Expect Akari’s Kirtan is a magical blend of ancient Sanskrit mantras and uplifting beats that will inspire your heart to dance and expand effortlessly. The evening features live mantra chanting, inspirational Bhakti stories, uplifting tea, and a sense of community, all woven together in a tapestry of true being-ness. Everyone is welcome, regardless of background or intention. You don’t need to be a singer or musician—just come with an open heart! We look forward to co-creating a space for deep connections together. What is Kirtan? Kirtan originates from Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of devotion and heart. It involves a call-and-response style mantra meditation supported by uplifting music. You can participate actively by singing or passively by simply receiving the sound and enjoying a meditative state—both are welcome! Just as we sense the sun's presence through its light, we connect with the Divine presence within and around us through mantra. About Akari Tamura (Anandamoyi Dasi) Akari is an experienced Kirtan leader and yoga teacher since 2013. She is a multi-instrumentalist, the author of the “Mantra Song Book” for Kirtan leaders, and a professional vocal and music coach.
