A cacao ceremony is a deeply sacred and healing experience. We begin by smudging with sacred herbs, setting intentions, and serving warm ceremonial cacao. You’ll then be guided into a relaxing meditation, followed by an introspective journey with music and light bodywork. Afterward, we’ll reflect through journaling, and end with a sharing circle to connect and close the ceremony.
Preparation for the ceremony:
-Wear comfortable clothes and bring a journal.
-Feel free to bring personal altar items or crystals.
-Try not to eat too much before the ceremony—fasting for at least 2-3 hours is ideal.
-If you do eat, avoid dairy and oily foods.
-Limit caffeine intake that day (no caffeine 2-3 hours before or after the ceremony).
-Drink plenty of water before and after the ceremony.
Important notes:
-Theobromine in cacao may interact with antidepressants—please inform us if you're taking any so we can adjust your serving.
-If you have a serious heart condition, cacao may not be suitable, as it increases blood flow by 30-40%.
-Cacao is safe during pregnancy, but we will reduce your serving size.
